1. Features and Scope of Application JT-4 Coking/FCC Dry Gas Hydrogenation Catalyst, developed by the Northwest Research Institute of Chemical Industry, has strong hydroconversion capability for olefins and organic sulfur in gas stream. It is applicable to both isothermal (olefins 8~15%)or adiabatic(olefins <6%) hydrogenation of refinery coker gas, and hydroconversion of natural gas or associated gas.
The main reactions involved are as follows: COS+H2=CO+H2S CS2+4H2 = CH4+ 2H2S RSH+H2=RH+H2S R1SR2+2H2=R1H+R2H+H2S C4H4S+4H2=C4H10+H2S CnH2n+H2 = CnH2n+2 (R= alkyl groups)
